UniCredit extends partnership with Worldline for Open Banking

UniCredit, one of the major pan-European banks, has renewed the partnership with Worldline, a global leader in payment services, for the Open Banking Third Party Provider (TPP) service. The partnership with Worldline allows UniCredit customers to connect their accounts in other banks throughout Europe via one single application programming interface (API). Centrale Bank van Curaçao en Sint Maarten, local banks and Worldline join forces to facilitate Instant Payments

The Centrale Bank van Curaçao en Sint Maarten (CBCS), in close collaboration with Worldline [Euronext: WLN] and the local commercial banks, has implemented the basic infrastructure for Instant Payments (IP). As a result as of 15 January 2022, all interbank payments in and between Curaçao and Sint Maarten and in Bonaire will now be processed within ten seconds, 24 hours a day and 365 days per year.


Lithuanian Banks' sign contract with Worldline

The commercial banks of Luthania and their representative, the Lithuanian Banks' Association (LBA), have signed a contract with Worldline to implement the Memorandum of Understanding signed earlier this year with the Bank of Lithuania on increasing the availability of cash. After assessing the feasibility of installing ATMs in different parts of the country, it plans to install 100 new ATMs by July 2022.
